Procedure
This task consists of three parts.
In the first part, participants form working groups of 2–3 people, receive work material 1, and complete phase 1.
In the first phase, participants use their prior knowledge to summarize associations with digital content, formats, and tools in a mind map. A suggestion for how this mind map might look can be found in the download folder for the working materials. This is followed by a brief discussion in the plenary session about the results of the mind maps.
In the second phase, each group selects a tool from the toolbox (cut out from the training material). They then answer the questions listed for this tool, make notes on their answers, and add them to their mind map in the appropriate place.
In the third part, the individual groups present their notes on the respective tools to each other in a plenary session.
Preparation
- The toolbox list must be printed out in advance and the individual tool names cut out. Participants can then draw the tool names from a box or similar container.
Notes on moderation
- Depending on the time available and the duration of the second work phase, the groups can also draw a second tool from the toolbox.
- The toolbox can be expanded to include any number of current and relevant tools.
