Digital youth work is crucial to support and protect young people in a world characterised by digital media.
As part of the larger YouPart Digital Toolkit — which includes 48 units in five chapters (theory, energisers, workshops, methods, evaluation) — this short chapter highlights the intersections between participatory approaches in youth work, inclusion and digital tools.
This toolkit will help young people and youth workers to deconstruct the single unified notion of a smartphone and understand where your smartphone comes from, who all are involved in the making of it, what is it made up of, and finally, where does it go once you dispose of it.
