Procedure
This task consists of three parts.
In the first part, participants form small groups of 2–4 people. Together, they search for a Wikipedia article on a topic that is relevant to their target group but not necessarily obvious or obvious. Alternatively, they can use Wikipedia to generate random article suggestions. Once they have chosen an article, they consider how they can present the knowledge contained in it in a creative way that appeals to their target group.
In the second part, the groups begin implementing or designing their projects, depending on the scope of the method they have chosen.
In the third part, the results are presented and reflected upon in a plenary session.
Preparation
- It is useful to provide participants with some examples of possible formats for creative knowledge production and to have discussed these beforehand. A list of such examples could include the following formats: Instagram stories, TikTok videos, memes, challenges, podcasting, gamification, app/software development.
Notes on moderation
- Depending on the level of complexity and the prior knowledge of the participants, the project can be implemented in practice or only outlined.
